The Parents Teacher Association and the IQAC of Khalsa College for Women, Civil Lines, Ludhiana organised an orientation programme and Parent-Teacher Meet for the students of first year B.A/B Sc./ B.com/BCA/BBA on August 1, 2025 in the college auditorium. The Principal Dr. Kamaljit Grewal accorded a warm welcome to the parents invited to attend the session with their wards.
The students and Parents were introduced to the academic structure of the college while sharing the academic calendar, rules and regulations under NEP and curriculum. They were further apprised about the college and its Academic, Sports and Cultural achievements through a power point presentation. A virtual tour to the various clubs and cells was given to the students encouraging them to join to tap into their creative potential. The students were also apprised about various aspects of learning- including Library rules and other parameters they are expected to follow in terms of their attendance and performance in the respective areas. They were also introduced to the heads of various departments.
College Principal Dr. Kamaljit Grewal motivated the students to make productive use of their time. She further encouraged them to explore their inner potential and participate in co-curricular activities of the college. She also added that the college is committed to hone their skills and enhance employability while educating them. The event culminated with the beats of national anthem.
