Khalsa College for Women, Civil Lines, Ludhiana added another remarkable achievement to its legacy by securing the First Prize in Mimicry at the Punjab State Inter-Varsity Youth Festival 2025, held at Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar, from 30 th November to 3 rd December, 2025.
Rupali Sharma, a student of B.Sc. III Non-Medical, brought laurels to the college with her outstanding performance, showcasing exceptional talent in the Mimicry competition. The event was organised under the Punjab State Inter-Varsity Youth Festival, which witnessed participation from 21 universities across the state. The festival hosted a wide range of competitions, including classical music, vocal music, western music, folk dance, classical dance, quiz contests, debates, plays, skits, poster making, collage making, and more—providing a vibrant platform for students to exhibit their artistic skills.The members of the Managing Committee appreciated the dedication and hard work of the faculty and students involved in this achievement.
Dr. Mukti Gill, the Director, and Dr. Kamaljit Grewal, the Principal of the college, congratulated Rupali Sharma and the Mimicry Team for this outstanding accomplishment and for bringing pride to the institution.
