Khalsa College for Women, Civil Lines Ludhiana, organized Annual Convocation for the session 2024-25 on March 28, 2026 wherein around 731 students were awarded with degrees of Post Graduation, Graduation, Post graduate diplomas and graduate diplomas. Eminent Personality Dr. Vikas Rishi, Scientist G. National Agri-Food & Biomanufacturing Institute, Mohali presided over the function and delivered the convocation address. The guest was accorded a warm welcome by the esteemed members of Managing Committee Madam Kushal Dhillon, Manager KCW along with Director Dr. Mukti Gill, Principal Dr. Kamaljit Grewal, entire staff and the students of college at his arrival in the college premises. The function commenced with an invocation to God.
The Annual Report was presented through multimedia highlighting the different activities and achievements of the Institute during the academic year. The persistent hard work of the students reaped rich dividends in the year 2024-25, where in students secured various 90 Top Ten positions in the university exams grabbing 8 first, 6 and 12 second and third positions respectively.
Physical Education Department managed to clinch 35 Gold Medals, 37 Silver Medals, and 41 Bronze Medals. The college clinched Ist Runners up trophy at the P.U Zonal Youth Festival organised at SCD Government College, Ludhiana. Students Bagged 37 prizes in all, 15 first, 09 second & 13 third prizes. At the inter-zonal of Heritage Festival organized at A.S College, Khanna bagged 17 prizes. College student Rupali Sharma bagged National second prize in mimicry in 39th AIU inter-university National Youth Festival.
21 students were conferred with the Roll of Honor for their achieving excellence in various activities. This year 6 students have qualified for Academic Roll of Honor, 7 for Social and Cultural Activities, 8 for Sports and NCC. In her address, Madam Principal expressed the belief that the institution is committed to nurture the students not only academically but aims at their holistic growth. She thanked the managing committee for their untiring efforts to ensure the smooth functioning of the institution.
The guest for the occasion ignited the young minds with illuminating words. Addressing the degree holders Dr. Rishi congratulated the students on their achieving academic excellence and urged them to add value and meaning to their degrees by contributing to the growth and development of the nation. The event met its conclusion with the beats of the National Anthem.
