Post Graduate Department of Commerce, Khalsa College for Women, Civil Lines organized a National level Inter- College Business plan Competition IMPRESSA 2021 virtually on 30th January. Students of under graduate and postgraduate classes from different colleges from various cities were invited to show case their talents and entrepreneurial skills of being an entrepreneur through Power Point Presentations.
In total 18 teams comprising of four participants in each team presented brilliant business ideas highlighting business plan’s uniqueness, marketability, financial feasibility and its future prospects. Teams came up with very unique and appropriate titles of their business plans like The Friends Limited, The Aces, Evil Masterminds, Trash Splits, The Healing hands, Saanjh, Big Bull, Samaritans, Robber Guards, Mending Mind, Refugee Shelter and Brute force etc. 10 shortlisted teams in the first round competed for the final round, followed by question answer round. The plans were highly appreciated by the judges of the event, Dr. Pawan Garga, Director, University College of Business Studies, Himachal Pradesh, Shimla and Dr. MERU KAILANI SEHGAL, Dean, Commerce and Management Department, GGDSD College, Chandigarh. The first, second and third positions were bagged by the team Friends Limited, The Healing Hands and Evil Masterminds respectively. Principal Dr.(Mrs.) Mukti Gill appreciated the efforts of the event organizers and the entrepreneurial skills of the participants and congratulated the prize winners.
