The Sociology Department of Khalsa College for Women, Civil Lines, Ludhiana celebrated International Day of Peace in sync with the theme proposed by UNESCO for 2024, cultivating the culture of peace. The students were sensitized on the importance of power of peace and were encouraged to be living expression of peace and harmony. The activity made its way to the social platforms in the form of a documentary shared in the students’ groups. While it enlightened the students on peace it also emphasized on the role of social platforms potentially significant in playing a key role in stimulating a positive change in society.
