Khalsa College for Women, Civil Lines, Ludhiana, brought laurels to the institution by securing 2nd Runner-Up Trophy at the Panjab University Inter-Zonal Youth and Heritage Festival hosted by A.S College, Khanna from 8th November to 11th November,2025.
The four-day festival celebrated the rich cultural and artistic spirit of Punjab through a wide array of events in literary, music, dance, theatre, and heritage categories. A total of 75 students from the college participated with great enthusiasm in various categories.
The college won an impressive 13prizes in total — 4 First, 2 Second, and 7 Third positions — across various team events, along with 5 individual prizes (Group Dance, Gidha, Luddi and 2 in Indian Orchestra ).
This remarkable achievement is a reflection of the collective dedication and teamwork of the participating students, faculty mentors, and the continuous guidance and motivation provided by Director, Dr (Mrs) Mukti Gill and Principal Dr. Kamaljit Grewal. The college managing committee applauded the students and their mentors for their commendable achievement in the youth fest.
