KCW ‘Luddi’ steals the show at Inter-zonal  youth and Heritage festival held at SPN College, Mukerian.

Khalsa College for Women, Civil Lines, Ludhiana, scripted history by winning first prize in the category of Folk Dance Luddi on day 1 of 63rd Panjab University inter-zonal youth and heritage festival held at SPN College, Mukerian. Around 190 colleges affiliated to Panjab University-Chandigarh are participating  in this four-day extravaganza. More than 2,000 students are competing in as many as 65 items, including dance, music, heritage, and theatre, among others.

The Luddi team competed with seven teams from various collegesand secured first position giving KCW a proud moment. AnmolDhunna, a student of B.Sc II, medical won the individual first prize in the competition.

The Principal  Dr.Mukti Gill  and College Management congratulated the entire team for the victory. She also applauded the Incharge of the event Dr.Sukhjit Kaur, Assistant Professor from the Department of History and wished the students the best for intervarsity performance.
