Khalsa College for Women, Civil Lines, Ludhiana organized a two-day Book Exhibition on 20th and 21st February with the objective of promoting reading habits and encouraging book culture among students. Books on various subjects were displayed in the college main hall. Special Gurmat books were also included, providing knowledge about Sikh history, teachings of the Gurus, and moral values.
The Principal, Dr. Kamaljit Grewal, addressed the students and emphasized the importance of reading for academic excellence and personal development. Librarian Miss Virpal Kaur motivated the students to cultivate a regular reading habit and make the best use of the exhibition.
On this occasion, Guru Gobind Singh Study Circle distributed Gurmat books free of cost among students to help them connect with the teachings and noble ideals of the Sikh Gurus.
Library staff, Library Committee members, and Heads of various departments were also present.
