In collaboration with Punjab MCL Swatch Bharat Abhiyan, NSS, NCC, Students Council and Rotract students of Khalsa College for Women, Civil Lines, Ludhiana completed their 7 days campaigning programme at Buddha Dariya on 11 February 2021.
Nearly 80 students took out awareness rally in area from Zone-A Gandhi Nagar to ShivpuriPully Buddha Nullah on 3 February 2021. The volunteers made the residents aware of segregating the dry waste and wet waste and making Buddha Dariya garbage free. 50 NSS /NCC Students made to tour survey for 7 days and created awareness regarding disposal of based, segregation of waste and cleanliness of their surroundings.
On The final day, NukkadNatak (Street Play) by NCC Cadets and NSS Volunteerswas presented near Chand cinema. Anjali, NSS volunteer recited a poem and NCC cadet shared her experience assured the authorities that they would disseminate the message among masses.
Principal Dr.Mukti Gill, appreciated the efforts made by NSS, NCC, Students Council and Rotract students and thanked the programme officers.
