The seven-day NSS Camp concluded successfully on 14th January with great enthusiasm, reflection, and a strong sense of achievement among the volunteers. The final day marked the culmination of a journey filled with learning, service, discipline, and personal growth.
The day began with the gracious presence of our respected Principal Dr. Kamaljit Grewal, and Mrs. Sabina Bhalla, HOD of the English department at the vibrant cultural fest organized by the NSS unit. The event showcased the talents of the volunteers through a graceful semi-classical dance by Damini, energetic Gidda by Ekam and Mani, and a skit performed by Gurveer, Yashika, Diksha, Pushti, Mehak, Arshpreet, Joti, Harnoor, Bhoomi, and Himanshu. Volunteers also shared their experiences and learnings from the camp, making the event meaningful and a soulful shayari by Gurveer, The performances continued with an energetic Bhangra by Tanishqa, lively Haryanvi dance by Stuti Sharma and Nisha, and concluded with a traditional Luddi by Ishnoor, filling the atmosphere with joy, applause, and the spirit of NSS.
Later the respected Principal Dr. Kamaljeet Garewal addressed the NSS volunteers and motivated them with inspiring words. The Principal appreciated the dedication, discipline, and active participation of the volunteers throughout the camp and also thanked the NSS in-charges for their guidance and tireless efforts in making the camp a success.
The cultural program was followed by a prize distribution ceremony recognizing the outstanding efforts of the volunteers in various competitions. In the PPT presentation, first position was secured by Damini, Monika, and Kareena; second position by Mehak, Kamali, Diksha, Pushti, Ridhima, Yashika, and Bhumi; and third position by Ekamjot Kaur, Arshdeep Kaur, and Anmoljeet. Other participants who received individual prizes included Yashika, Dhani, and Rajni Tiwari, Anmoljeet Kaur. In Poster-making winners were Vicky, Anmoljeet and Aarti Kumari, Khushboo pandit. All winners were appreciated for their creativity, clarity of expression, and commitment to social awareness.
The titles of Best Volunteer and Best Coordinator were awarded to Manjari and Preeti_ respectively, honoring their exceptional dedication and leadership throughout the camp. The ceremony served as a moment of recognition for the hard work and creativity of the volunteers, motivating them to continue contributing positively to society.
The NSS Camp concluded on a patriotic and emotional note with the singing of the National Anthem, filling everyone with pride, unity, and a renewed sense of responsibility towards the nation.
