The college has well-maintained extensive play grounds and adequate facilities for Hockey, Cricket, Volleyball, Badminton, Basketball and Athletics. The College appoints coaches for each game and provides ample opportunities to the student to participate in inter-college, Inter-varsity, state and national level championships. 16 teams of the college participated in various sports events and brought home accolades. As many as 150 players from the undergraduate and postgraduate classes participated in various tournaments at National, All India Inter-varsity, inter-college, State, North Zone and Distt. Level. They amassed a rich booty of 54 gold medals, 36 silver and 28 bronze medals. This year, the long nurtured dream of the sports dept. materialized in the form of Ist runner- up position.
Outstanding sports persons who participate at the Inter-varsity and at national level are provided free boarding and lodging, a diet of Rs. 50/- everyday and all other necessary facilities
