The PU Skill2Market Hub, a flagship initiative of the College Development Council (CDC), Panjab University, Chandigarh, was successfully organised on 4th May 2026 at the Panjab University Campus. The event was inaugurated by Prof. (Dr.) Renu Vig, Vice Chancellor, Panjab University, whose presence added great distinction to the occasion.
The initiative, conceived and spearheaded by Prof. Ravi Inder Singh, Dean, College Development Council, Panjab University, aims to bridge the gap between skill development and market exposure for students of affiliated colleges. The event provided a vibrant platform for student entrepreneurs to showcase and sell their handcrafted products, thereby translating classroom skills into real-world enterprise.
The Ludhiana District Forum was organised under the dedicated leadership and coordination of Dr. Kamaljit Grewal, Principal, Khalsa College for Women, Civil Lines, Ludhiana, who served as the District Forum In charge for the Ludhiana region.

The Vice Chancellor and other dignitaries visited each stall and were visibly impressed by the quality, creativity, and entrepreneurial spirit on display. Special appreciation was extended to Dr. Kamaljit Grewal and the students of Khalsa College for Women, Ludhiana, for curating an outstanding and diverse exhibition within a remarkably short span of time. Their stall, featuring premium handmade soaps, decorative candles, wooden artefacts, and stone art, drew particular admiration from visitors and officials alike.
